Edited 2 years agoHate to say it but I think everything post 1992 should be considered questionable. John Lydon is quoted as saying the master tapes went missing around 1992 and Steve Jones is quoted as saying they mastered from CD up to 2012, after which universal remastered the album from alternate tapes. One thing worth pointing out is after the master tapes went missing all subsequent pressings mastered from CD dropped unlimited edition from EMI

If someone can get a copy on green vinyl 2022 can they please let me know as long as its not from the USA as your shipping rates are too expensive. Thanks Steve.

in a 1994 feature Record Collector Magazine stated that "some export versions have satellite listed on the back cover"
I've gone through every photo on discogs and i don't see it
did RC make a mistake? -
The label tracklist on this edition is ranged to the left, whereas it seems to be centred on the other Barclay pressings.

Edited one year agoaccording to the rights society on the labels this is a french version not belgian !
-
Edited one year agoIf this is the Belgian pressing, then is the French one also listed here? I can't find it. My copy has the label information centred, rather than ranged left, and with the white text blown out. It also has a faint black finger print above the titles on the back cover, which looks to be beneath the laminate and therefore part of the print. Very interested to know if this is likely to be an unlisted bootleg....

IF DATA WILL BE ALTERED AGAIN:
This is the very first release of the album in the world, no one was faster than Eddie Barclay of Barclay Records, beating Richard Branson of Virgin Records by about two weeks!
Easy to identify as this one has "Made in Belgium" stated on the label...
If you need further details pls me before changing basic data again.
Thanks! -
..as there are 4 pressings floating around with Barclay 940553 this submission is horrible incomplete. Pls add pics to identify...
