I can’t add anything new. This pressing is fantastic with solid kick ass bass and nice balance so mids aren’t masked. A nice powerful EQ that gets better as you spin the volume knob higher and higher! I have had quite a few US reissues over the years but nothing sounds like this. The horns on The Right Profile give me chills! Wow! This is the one to get friends.

Believe the hype. This is an original pressing that really lives up to the high expectations. Blown away. Loved London Calling for twenty years but don’t feel like I really heard it until I heard this version.

Released in Dec. 1979 but the album of the 1980's? I could subscribe to that. Joe's integrity, 90 % true, 10 % fake, Mick's worth waiting talent, Paul's eternal coolness and Topper's impeccable, jazz influenced drumming. And Bill Price, not to mention Timtom's contributions to this pressing. Not sure if I need anything else than this.

Did this originally come with two printed innersleeves or one printed innersleeve and one insert?

Help me out please, I need the cover for this one + inners! (The Clash - London Calling, 1st UK press)

I don't intend to resell them, I really love this album (LC being my favourite) and would really love to pair them and put into my collection!

I have some records to offer for swap, check my discogs store.
If you have , hit me up, I'll gladly buy!

Great album, but I have a little skip at the beginning of " Spanish Bombs ",
I have listened to a few copies of this album, and cannot seem to find a copy without the small skip
Has anyone else had this problem.

Has anyone else compared the first UK pressing to a U.S. promo? I know this is supposed to be the one, but I prefer the U.S. copy.

Unpopular take: I REALLY REALLY REALLY don’t like London Calling (the song). The rest of the album, I mean, cmon… It’s gold.
