Really poor mastering.

Picture this : Watching a video taken with an early 2000s camera phone with a of a boombox playing a bootleg CD-R burned with low quality mp3s. That's how this sounds.

I don't understand. This is by Sony Music.

Michael Jackson - Bad

These re-releases are all by Sony Music as well and they sound fantastic.

Didn't have a copy, and liked the purple vinyl. The songs by Whitney are the only reason to own the soundtrack. The companion to the soundtrack, I Wish You Love: More from the Bodyguard, is an excellent pressing. Two discs, solid purple vinyl with only Whitney songs. That's an excellent album with alternate mixes and film versions of the songs, plus live recordings. I just got the Target version on a whim, but probably won't get played near as much as the 2-disc companion set which sounds phenomenal.

This reissue sounds very flat. The background noise is insane. I returned it because it’s unbearable.
