The collectability factor might have increased had they delivered it as a 7" instead of 12".
Then the dead wax wouldn't be an issue. They should have done a little more with the artwork as well. -
You can tell they just took the 2 tracks from the Facelift remaster, the sound quality on 'Killing Yourself' is clearly not remastered. LMAO about the "Limited" to over 14k copies

A 2:31 song on one side of a 12" cut at 33 1/3??? What genius thought this was worthy of a re-release? Meanwhile the 30th anniversary of Dirt seems like it was given no special treatment in its re-release. God sometimes I really hate record companies.

The sound is phenomenal! The packaging leaves a bit to be desired, though. There is so much dead wax on this too - could have suffered to add a couple more “rarities” or even have it at 45 RPM. However, $15 isn’t bad; nice piece to add to the collection.

Mine looks like a salad bowl on the platter. I didn’t bother to drop the needle. Such a shame some of these pressing plants can’t get their act together.
Edit: I finally got a playable copy. Not too bad, I just wish AIC would remaster their early catalog and repress. I’m thinking Dirt remastered by Bernie Grundman and pressed at Pallas would make my year! -
Sounds muddy vs Facelift vinyl and cd/digital. Also one of the more warped pieces of vinyl I have ever spun, and I have a few.
-
Sounds pretty damn good to my ears. Guitars chug without a lot of mush, Layne’s vocals are prominent and clear, nice balanced mix. Vinyl itself is a little “meh” but can’t complain for $15.

Amazing quality!! I played it side by side with the 2021 Facelift European release and it sounds noticeably better. As expensive as records go now I think the price is pretty fair too, would definitely recommend getting this while the price stays at $15 lol
