Copy number 0014 here. BUY BUY BUY!
This release and in particular this pressing is absolutely top notch reference level work for me. Truly resplendant in perfectly pressed slightly transparant yellow vinyl and sounds amazing on top. Surely an asset to any collection! Just awesome -
Oh my word... Echo most comments bellow... This was done with love!
Just need MOV to liase with JVC Force and who owns their back catologue to do an expanded version on 2 x LP of https://discogs.programascracks.com/JVC-Force-Force-Field/master/199559 Who's with me???? -
Edited 3 years agoRepress is very nice, and a sound replacement for the CD version I bought very moons ago! some very nice anecdotes from the , fans of the band and Liam Howlett tells us how he met Kool Keith and diesel power came to be. my only complaint is similar to when I bought it on CD and it is they could have included the radio remix version of travelling at the speed which has extra scratching and verses instead of the hip-house remix and the b-side funky potions over ego trippin' bonus beats to make it complete. other than that, pick up this absolute classic. Kool Keith has rhymes for days!

As everyone else has already mentioned this thing kicks major ass! Sound is phenomenal. Don't sleep on this one

This has got to be one of the nicest reissues ive ever purchased.....everything about this pressing is quality!
I have an original German pressing of this album, and i didn’t even think of doing an A/B comparison. Dont loaft on this one!!! -
Lovely thick yellow vinyl, flat as a pancake. The mastering is superb. It's cut nice and loud (quite an achievement given that this is the 2004 edition which clocks in at about 50 minutes), with thunderous low end. High quality packaging as well - poly-lined inners, a large fold out insert and b/w print.
Another triumph from MoV - this is exactly how reissues should be done (oh, and the music is pretty awesome as well...) -
It's a great re-issue. Everything sounds perfect. And especially Bait is sounding fully mastered (and for the first time the last verse is also included) If they would have chosen to include original 12"version of Traveling At The Speed Of Thought, instead of this Hip House version, this release would have been a perfect 10 and one of the best releases in at least a decade for me. They did miss out on that one, IMHO. But overall a great addition to my collection.

Edited 11 months agoThis reissue sounds fantastic. It's great that they replaced Ego Trippin to the lengthy 12" version. My only problem with this release is that the original album on here is still on 1 vinyl - coulda, shoulda been spread the original on double album. But still a very nice package, you get originals of Bait and Funky, plus A Chorus Line. And Mentally Mad! All classic material. MOV's packaging is really nice, promo pics and some background info.
