Really not the worst bootleg of Solid Space, received it today (30€ shipping included).
Better than the previous bootleg without a sleeve sold 150€ !
We need an official reissue tho. -
I received the record today from this shitty bandcamp and i never thought that it was an official reissue (i usually prefer to buy official reissues that the artists) but it seems just impossible to get a decent reissue of Solid Space and in fact it's really weird to say that but the artwork is beautiful and the sound is OK ! -
I would still have liked to get a copy but my order was cancelled, due to the vendor having been reported to paypal and having had their frozen. I would buy a legit copy if one ever came out, but will take a bootleg for the time being.

Edited 8 years agoThe fact that this release is announced as an official remastered reissue on the bandcamp site and turning into a fraud without legal basis is really bad. This story shows once again the disrespectful and greedy dealing with someone else's intellectual property and betraying lots of fans in a very exploitative way.
Thanks to heroinface for the solution. Does anybody know anything about the copyrights or whether an official reissue is being planned?
It's also interesting that my order, which I wanted to cancel today anyway after reading about the fraud, was cancelled by the seller without a reason. Has anyonelse's order also been cancelled without reason? -
This is an insult. Not just because of the person behind it trying to make it look official with the Bandcamp pantomime and all. BTW I bet he's the one who listed it here, check his profile. Back to the point, call me a sybarite, THE SOUND QUALITY IS CRAP TO ME. It's not even made from a lossless transfer of the original cassette but from a lousy mp3, filtered to death. The one who made it had no technical skils whatsoever. I have only given the a shallow listen and could already find a huge flaw in the song 'a darkness in my soul' for example. At the 1:11 mark, the left channel is gone all of a sudden, regaining slooooowly as the song plays forward. It makes me angry to see how fast these have gone sold, how many people have been, in my humble opinion, CHEATED. I did not buy it (got the FLAC from a friend who did, to check it technically), but if I had, I would definitely request my money back and let the bootlegger eat my copy. -
Just saw the Bandcamp page for this and gutted to see it is sold out. I have been periodically checking for a reissue of this for a while and missed the pre order. So bummed. Hope they press up some more, this is such a great record.
