Limited edition of 999 numbered copies, pressed on 180 gram vinyl, and housed in heavy printed jacket accompanied by inner jacket with photos and info.
A1 written and produced in 1984. Released on the Fusion 12" (1985).
A2 recorded in November 1983 in Belgrade.
A3 recorded at home to 4-track tape in 1985. Released on the V/A Climax cassette (1985).
A4 recorded in a living room in Tokyo in 1980. Released as a 7" on Vanity Records (1980).
A5 recorded at I Studios.
B1 recorded in 1981 by Rob in Cardiff then mailed to Mark in Bristol, released on The Dada Computer cassette, Map Tapes.
B2 recorded at home in Battersea, London in 1979. Previously unreleased track.
B3 recorded in 1981 at the Studio Katy Waterloo.
B4 released as a 7" on Diversion Records (1981).

Splendid compilation. Expensive retail price but worth it, for once. Better than the Minimal Wave Tapes vol. 1 & 2 imho.

Edited 8 years agoThe last track "Microphone Connection" comes from me, I have it on tape and made a copy for Veronica Estela Vasicka. I received the original recording from Henk Wallays who worked together with Tara Cross. It comes from the orginal demo tape where Tara Cross comments every base track before sending it to Henk Wallays.
