The packaging and coloured vinyl is gorgeous and very festive. Unfortunately the mastering is mediocre. Quite distorted on a number of tracks and lacks bass. It’s alright for a Christmas release that’ll only get played a few times every December. -
Great pressing overall, the sound was pretty good. Although I did notice a few pops here and there - specially on the first track - even after cleaning the record. -
Heard 3 copies of this pressing and all had distortions on the final three tracks of side 2. Typical (sub) Optimal pressing in other words-copies out there which might be ok-lots of copies out there which are not but since QC isn't a thing these days you take your chances. I got rid of my 3rd copy of it and have just stayed with the Japanese CD I bought back in the 90s, which sounds as good then as it does now. Was hoping for a good pressing of this album but it isn't this one.

A surprisingly clean pressing! Sounds great and the red vinyl really pops visually. Thankfully those are the only pops, as this one is quiet and crystal clear. What could have been a cheap novelty album ends up being a really nice release of a holiday classic.
