I would argue the most impressive, explosive, in-your-face turn-about in Rock/Metal history! After a rather lulled output from Priest in Turbo and Ram It Down, I was completely floored upon hearing the first- and title- track, Painkiller. Holy smokes, Rob came out blazing with a fury I hadn't heard since Unleashed and Screaming! Oh, and they once and for all said "ok" to double-kicks with new drummer, Scott Travis, which on this album is just the icing on the cake.
A most jaw-dropping comeback album that's chalk full of amazing songs from start to finish!
