Agree with the general praise for this album and artist. It's strange when you realize that many believe that Everbody's Talkin' was a Nilsson creation.

A great 2CD set covering the 3 Capitol studio LPs w a few singles & some unreleased cuts added. -
Edited 10 months agoThis collection is perfection - Fred Neil is arguably the greatest singer/songwriter to come out of the folk era. Everything he officially released on Capitol Records is here (just about) with wonderful sound. The “Fred Neil” album is without doubt one of the best albums in recorded history - everything about it is wonderful. He has influenced a lot other artists, but few have ever come close to his greatness.
Highly recommended. -
Magnificent collection of three albums of Fred Neil. The Fred Neil album is glorious, no need to repeat such a statement but we are talking about a real desert island masterpiece. The unreleased songs are awesome too. Immortal Fred Neil.
