Edited 18 years agoThis CD completely changed my life. Completely. I was working in a radio station where we got it as as promo and as I listened throught the tracks I was completely blown away at what a creative and sensual sound designer he was. Deep and rich and mesmerizing. Unflug continue to be my favorite dance track of all time.. hands down. And he made it in '92! This is a must have for anyone who finds Villalobos remotely appealing. You should find him much much more than that though. Absolutely brilliant.

Edited 18 years agoThis stuff made Ricardo Villalobos famous and gave him the breakthru push he definitely deserved. We can argue about any of his recent releases, but this material here is beyond any criticism. From the opening melodic + adventurous 12 minutes of "Que Bel Epoque" on we are exposed to beautiful sounding Trax that are rhythmically complex but straight forward rocking. The best part is the mid section. Listening to Tempura, Unflug (the 12" release of this set with additional great remixes) to "Lazer@present" ( maybe his strongest track ) to the aptly titled Logohitz, we find nothing but Hit Material on this CD. Right now i am listening to Lugom-Ix and this is also dangerousely pushing and pushing. Thanx a lot for coming up with this fantatsic Compilation of ricardo Villalobos best Dancefloor Hits on one neat CD Set. Go and get it FAST you may not know by now : But you NEED This !!!

Edited 18 years agoIts fantastic to finally be able to have all these tracks on one CD. It's classic Villalobos. He swings back and forth between those minimal tech/minimal house moods. The bonus track Electrolatino is just what you would expect from the title. Some great percussion and it's Epic in nature. If your a Villalobos fan you may already own these tracks but if your new, it is a must have!
