Lots of pop and crackles on Side A that ruins the shimmering, ethereal transitions between songs. Once the bass comes in it can be ignored but still affects the overall smooth sound of the album.
Nevertheless this is a very fun debut LP from Lean with gorgeous, hazy production that improves upon the sound he blew up with on his previous mixtape Unknown Death 2002.
Now all we need is Warlord on vinyl!! -
Guys, you can buy a repress of this in the Yung Lean website by going into Warlord and then into shop. For 20 dollars, shippment not inculded in the price, you can have one. I write this after I have my copy of this cause I didn't wanna lose mine hehehe.

Great, high quality pressing. Lean's first official album and it shows he put a lot of work in it. A great transition from his (now even bootlegged on vinyl) mixtapes to a full studio album, this shows a lot in his music videos as well.
Been listening to it on and off for a while now and side A simply sounds amazing with the way these tracks blend together.
The rest of the album is kind of like a very nice outro but the height of the album for me was definitely "Sunrise Angel" and "Yoshi City". Lean sort of went with a new direction while still keeping the old sound that got him where he is now. It really shows that Lean is working with some of the best producers in the genre right now.
One of my favorite albums of 2014, but that might be biased because I'm a huge follower of this "genre" since it started.
