sounds quite good but it being on 2lps is pretty pointless

One of the worst records I own... I don't like the sound stage, it sound so weak and so compressed... Also from the content perspective a very diverse music that I my view must impress but it only confuses. But this is a matter of taste. The runout is weird... And the packaging is good quality but kind of heartless the carton itself is so rough that I'm sure will damage the grooves. The colour and paint is cheap. Disappointed.

I really like this album and I'm planning to buy it, but I'm scratching my head over the 2-LP thing. According to experts like Kevin Gray, a 12" record spinning at 33.33 RPM can hold up to 18 minutes of music per side with absolutely no sound quality compromise, and between 19 and 24 minutes per side with still great sound. More than 24 minutes per side result in noticeable sound quality reduction. Now, considering that the total length of this album is 40 minutes (including the vinyl-only final track), I really don't understand why it had to be spread over two records. It would have made all the sense in the world had it been cut at 45 RPM, but it wasn't. At 33.33 RPM, ti would have perfectly fit one single 12" record without having to cram anything.

anyone notice that there are two different covers for this release? both have the same artwork but some copies have a gold reflective sheen on some of the details around the face. others are just matte yellow.

This album really shines in its Japanese instrumental edition. The music and its almost frenetically busy arrangements are given the space to move and really shine without being held back by the vocals, and whereas the official release comes over as hip hop done in a jazz fusion vein, the instrumental edition comes across as 70's inspired psychedelic sci-fi jazz hip hop.
Why the instrumental edition of You're Dead! wasn't given an official worldwide release as was done with Flamagra is baffling. Get yourselves the instrumental edition before they're all gone.

This LP sounds much better than the 2010 pressing of Cosmogramma. It's much more dynamic and sounds fantastic, it's in a beautiful heavy-duty thick spined card jacket with incredible artwork, and from what I've seen it's not very expensive to pick up a copy these days, I highly highly recommend this LP to any Flylo fans.

seeing this on ad posters on the London subway... Made me hipster-avoid the album for a bit. Gotta say, though, I, for one, do like the short tracks and the wide experimental vibe (just trying new things and collaborating is impressive). If you liked Cosmogramma then this is your jam, just a bit more epic, dark, hiphop/fusion-infused. It’s short in total, but that’s alright, makes you want more and keeps it feeling urgent which might be on purpose thematically. Personally enjoying this a lot! Props to FlyLo for being so collaborative <3

Sorry to say this, I am very disappointed, as only a few listenable tracks, the rest of the tracks sounds like: (fillers only)... At least the artwork is mint, amazing seriously!

Even though the A2 side is a bit noisy in my print, I still love this album, it's his best work yet.
