This live album gets some flack for being not a very good performance from the rather amazing Rolling Thunder Revue. It's not really understood why Columbia decided to use these recordings over earlier, clearly better ones. Anyway, I think it's fine. Nicest part is that there are a lot of early Dylan songs that are done in a completely different style, so it's at the very least refreshing. The whole concert however comes off as if Dylan felt like nobody could hear him, so many of his vocals sound strained. But again- overall it's a perfectly okay live album.
