Album does not sound well-mastered in of the mix, but it’s Bob Dylan singing some of his best. It’s a fun listen and I’m glad my copy is in great shape. -

If this vinyl album would have been my first introduction to Dylan I would be a bigger fan. The music is upbeat the guitar tone is fantastic and the sound is vibrant. -
This is the one. Perfect remaster of a unique performance by the world's greatest songwriter, at the height of his game, while he's suffering intense personal pain.

The band is out of tune and struggling to tune up between songs but it’s The Rolling Thunder Revue in all its ragged glory and a great live album. -

This album is brilliant. It’s true that the sound quality of the original recordings could be better, but the performances are just beyond the pale. I dare you to listen to You’re a Big Girl and not feel his pain. I like this version more than any other I’ve heard. Idiot Wind is idiot good. My god I love the Rolling Thunder era! -

One of Dylan's most beloved official albums. Maggie's farm blows the roof off and the list goes on. The catchy drums, guitars, bass, the singer's voice and even the pauses in the songs are masterful. -

This is a post-1981 reissue, as evidenced by the “Home taping is killing music” logo on the rear cover, introduced in October 1982. If anyone can date further it would be appreciated! Edit: the notes on the CBS “Nice Price” are helpful here, and this has catalogue no. 32308 on the spine, with the sunburst label dating it to 1982-84. -

You can tell by the performances that The Rolling Thunder Revue was on it's last legs & running out of gas. Some of the re-interpretaions are weak (Maggie's Farm, Stuck Inside of Mobile...). Shelter From The Storm & Idiot Wind are excellent. Very likely sourced from the TV broadcast.
