The track "Amsterdam" was recorded during J&Y's first bed-in in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The heartbeats heard in the track "John & Yoko" are, indeed, J&Y's heartbeats, recorded on 22 April 1969 in Studio Two, EMI Studios, London. The recordings were later remixed into stereo and re-made.
The original Wedding Album came in a box and included the following inserts:

3-1/2" x 5-1/2" postcard
24" x 36" poster of wedding photos
12" x 36" poster of John and Yoko lithographs
12" square mylar bag with "Bagism" printed on it
11-1/2" square photo of a piece of wedding cake inserted in the mylar bag
17 page black cover booklet of wedding photos and clippings ("The Press")

In my copy misprint on inside vinylcover, right bottomcorner “SNAX-3361”. Shouldn’t this be “SMAX-3361”?! -
My copy has indeed the artists credited on the spine. Namely 'Wedding Album . John And Yoko' plus, at the end of the spine, a silhouetted image of an apple in white on black plus the catalogue number.
I'm frustrated because I can't add this release to my collection. The information on the runout doesn't match anything here. SMAX-1-3361-F-4. (Side One) and SMAX-2-3361-F-4. (Side Two).

Edited 9 years agoThis album was credited to 'John and Yoko' on the cover and spines apparently, though the images available online of the label have their full names. Was that label only on the regular LP versions, and not the original box?
