17$ Median? Thought this would be more rare. Different dark label with the x-ray, unlike the reissues.

Won't Discogs put an end to pop.market listing all new pressings for anywhere from $7-$17 for this release? It really skews the data and it's super lazy and dishonest to sell them under this release.

I found a copy without the "explicit lyrics" sticker in front cover.Could it have been removed,or were some copies sold without sticker?

Edited 8 years agoSeem to sound as good as a old Tool album on vinyl ought to sound. The bass grooves all very prevalent and the vocals and symbols are very refined. I actually think it is more balanced then my Undertow reprint. Album wise I would prefer Aenema or Lateralus to be a better option for an introduction to tool. Undertow is a good album but does not have the same continuity and mystery the later albums hold up to in tradition. Reasons to own this album besides for the sake of owning Tools first EP and be a completionist would be the 3 songs on side A. Actually Cold and Ugly had me at Maynord yelling "Throw that bob marly wanabee looking mother***ker out of here". That song ending transitions into Maynord stating how he systematically got rid of termites and cockroach asshole occupants and tears into a very fast "jerk-Off". These 2 Live tracks are very well recorded, mastered and restored. The title track Opiate is just ok in my opinion.
