My copy sounds excellent. Minimal surface noise and the dynamics are great…that classic Smiths/Morrissey sound fills a room nicely.

Sounds great to my ears. I’m playing on a very decent sound system. But I think whoever remastered this one did a fantastic job!

Some of the tracks sound good, but some like Shoplifters of the World are practically unlistenable. Absolutely horrible pressing

My pressing sounds good. When I hear limitations, they match all the other versions that I've owned, from cassette to CD to mp3. I think it's probably in the source. I am proud to own my copy, but I could see this being a real splurge for some at $38usd.

My copy has the Sire logo on the back cover, in the low right corner, I'm missing something?

Sounds great, nearly silent surface noise-wise. Morrissey’s vocals have a wonderful clarity and richness to them, Marr’s guitar is wonderfully detailed and properly energetic and jangly, and Rourke’s bass drives a nice punch. Mike Joyce’s drums are clear and detailed. No compression on my copy, even Panic (a track that’s had some complaints about sound wise in this and the US edition) sounds enjoyable even compared to my 12” 45rpm single version. Great reproduction of the art, sleeves and labels too- just be careful removing the discs as the sleeves are that glossy paper that’s prone to scuffing the discs. Not sure if mine was an especially good copy but let it be known that this pressing has potential! Definitely consider it if you aren’t keen on paying a pretty penny for a minty original.

Crazy, the comments are terrible! My copy was just perfect!

Flawed. There was a gash on Side One, straight out of the jacket at first glance. Track 3 was unplayable. Must have been pressed on a Friday. Should not have ed inspection.

Reading other comments here, can only say I'm mystified. Just purchased direct from Sound of Vinyl. Played right through and it's perfect in every sense of the word. Have a Voyd Reference, SME Series V and a Koetsu Coralstone. There must be an explanation, possible I have a recent repress and they just haven't bothered with a new barcode?
