It's a very special edition. The cover in general reminded me of those old windows wallpapers, and in general this kind of design doesn't quite fit. But it sounds pretty good.

Very good sound for a reissue. copied from the original master for me without any doubts.

Do not pick this one as R&S repressed it officially recently. However I don't think this one was pressed in China - there are no vinyl factories here. All our local releases are printed outside the mainland.

I'm not surem if I'm posting this unther the right release, but I just picked up a copy of this and it is a far quieter pressing than the original, at least mine had lots of noise, not only in the deadwax areas, but in the songs as well. This pressing is quiet in the deadwax at the beginning, ending and inbetween the songs. As for the music, for me it has more than stood the test of time and will forever be a classic. The man is simply a genius.

Just saw this release at the record store so I took a picture and sent it to Renaat Vandepapeliere and he confirms this is a fake R&S re-issue. For the record, Renaat is the "R" in R&S.

Very poor release. Only get this if you can't afford the original SAW.
Cover is so HIDEOUS even Deau5 would reject it. R&S are obviously so embarrassed about it that they haven't even printed their name on it. Makes it look like a bootleg. Also, despite being a 2xLP release, it does not have a gatefold. Instead, the two LP's are just shoved in a cover designed for one, making it bulge.

Even worse is the vinyl itself. My copy is ugly. The second LP is... alright, but the first has a lump of vinyl (like liquid vinyl was dropped on it and set) in the run in which makes getting the stylus in the groove difficult. Not only that, but there are these horrible looking milky plastic patterns here and there, like it was printed on the cheapest, nastiest recycled vinyl they could get. Sound quality is also very average. Worse than original and nowhere near as good as the remastered edition.

                      AVOID.
