This sounds absolutely Fabulous how Rhino & Grundman managed to do this at this lowly price?
Authentic sounding of the early 70`s with no digital nasties to be heard, dynamic, bluesy, groovy &
a little bit Psychedelic!
Highly recommended five stars *****

I am getting some of the new Rhino’s coming out in 2025 only to fill some gaps in my doors collection and the new ones are fully analog. But this one in particular sounds great….don’t feel that it needs an upgrade. Probably some digital sourcing but it sounds great. I also have an old 70s repressing as well. This is fine as is

Somebody Correct this track listing! It’s Side A, B, C & D! if you’re going by letters. 1 thru 4 if it’s numbers. This listing doesn’t even show it’s 2 lp’s

I was planning to buy the new Rhino Hi Fi edition of this album when the Doors albums come out individually later in the year…but saw this version at my local shop for a pretty good price and grabbed it. I cannot imagine any pressing sounding better than this! It was stunning from the first note of Roadhouse Blues. Plus, it’s very quiet without a single pop or crack. Very happy with this. I may just forget the Rhino HiFi versions and buy a few more Doors titles from this series as well. Any suggestions? Are they all this good?

Just grabbed this one from Amazon US, which is apparently what they are shipping currently. Optimal did a fantastic job on QC. The Bernie Grundman mastering is top shelf. Excellent, dynamic and powerful pressing. Sounds great with no surface noise, no ticks, pops or other sundry artifacts!

Great sound. Very loud, very full, very dynamic. Very cheap as well, so you won't have to fork out an arm and a leg for it

The pressing is awesome. The vinyl sounds fantastic. What bogs me off is the cover art. Mine seems all washed out and a little soft focus. I kind of the original colours being richer and the image sharper. The blacks here look grey, and the cover looks sun-bleached. Is it a bad scan? I don't know... but the vinyl does sound brilliant.

I love this record. Very nice pressing. Almost no surface noise, even listening with headphones on a high level. Good dynamics, clear and just the right amount/quality of bass, mids and treble.
I can highly recommend this one.

I really dig these Rhino 2009 BG lacquer cuts. Sounds absolutely flawless. Not so sure about the 50th Anniversary ones, though.
Highly recommend this!
