Indeed, there are a couple of big mistakes on this release. In my opinion there are two. First, the out of sync guitar on "Suspicious Minds" and second, the missing word "any" in " Any Day Now". Both should not be on a quality release. A replacement disc should be made availlable! Then of course there is the strange sounding "Don't Cry Daddy" wich is not a mistake (imo) but a clear choice, although it would't have been my choice. For the rest, I think there aren't any mistakes on this set. There are choices made that will not be every fan's cup of tea. But hey... that's part of the fun in being a music fan. Sometimes you love it... somtimes you don't.
But... for the rest... I think the mixes sound really great. Mike Ross-Spang makes Elvis and the studio musicians sound bright, vibrant and dynamic. There are nice accents in Elvis's voice and the individual instruments that weren't audible before due to the, sometimes extensive, overdubs.
So... I like it very much overall. But the obvious mistakes remain unforgivable.
