Why is there almost always a problem with splatter pressings ? Vinyl 2 which has the best music on it is sounding excellent but vinyl 1 side A has lots of pops and ticks - side B has in the start of the track a small spot. I cannot get it washed away... so has to be also pressing issue. I paid 50 euro for it - which is kinda too much anyway because they pressed i think 1000 of these.... Well... it's a classic anyway... music is top notch and I am happy to have it on vinyl - but I can hit myself to the head because I had to buy the 4lp instead (BOX) - hahaha - but ... it wasnt announced or clear to me it was available too.. well... Conclusion: music = 5/5 nostalgic and the pressing 2/5. If you doubt buying this; i would buy the black one instead of this one. Maybe that one is better... mostly black is...

Edited one year agoA great pressing and after a good wet clean has minimal noise and really opens up dynamically. The splatter is so good! Fluro even. The few pops and clicks that are there do not affect the listening experience. To get the best results this records needs a good wet deep clean though.
As for the album. What a piece of electronic art. IDM house ambient- love it. Side 4 is astonishing! -
Edited one year agoGreat LP, especially the last 4 tracks, which form an exhilarating sequence. But this issue is nothing special. The digital comps show green on red - it's the other way round. Sound is OK but nothing more. Mine came with a large scuff on Side A and plenty of clicks and pops, at £43. >sigh<
