Sounds amazing, very minimal packaging but the sound quality is good enough to make up for it for me.

Fabulous vinyl with fantastic bass treb and mids. Great listening. I do agree that the sleeves are disappointing. I loathe two discs/one cover. And at least give us static guard plain inners! Still love it though.

After years of wondering if i should just get a CD (after all, this piece of music isn't AAA) i've decided to pull the trigger on a vinyl pressing.
For now, i'm at my first copy but it doesn't start well:
- Packaging is bare-bone with the usual über-slim cardboard you find in the modern world.
- Both records have marks all over the surface
- One of them has a bubble!
As for the listening experience:
- mastering sounds good to me (i've only add a digital/mp3 version to compare so far) but...
- a few tracks (mostly B2 & D3) have annoying defects. I can hear loud cracks, typical of non-fills.
So, not a perfect pressing but if you can get for 20€ or so, i guess it's OK. -
Edited 3 months agoThis is great, one of my all time favortie electronic albums. Really dynamic and quiet.

Excellent pressing. Restitution is perfect, the records are a bit noisy but nothing crazy. Really good release.

Edited one year agoThe pressing itself is fine, I think people often forget that original material ain't perfect and is distorted anyway, you have to keep that in mind. Inner sleeves are paper only. Overall it's nice, a classic album, sounds good.

I've had 2 copies of this record and both have what sounds like non-fill at the beginning of We Are The Music Makers. Anyone else have this problem?
