After spending more time with the B side of the vinyl, I think the remix is spot on great on this side, Beyond the vocals being a bit behind on Side A, Highway Star in particular, I am loving everyone about this record. On to the 5.1 next.

I still have not checked out the 5.1 but did a quick compare of the vinyl to my 1978 Columbia House pressing, Granted that one may not be the best example out there, but it's pretty good. This remix is far superior in my view the vocals could be a little more forward in the mix. That jumped out at me on Highway Star, but even with that said, I still love the record overall.

Wow, Dweezil's Atmos and 5.1 multichannel mixes are truly fantastic and very immersive. The original 1974 quadrophonic mix sounds great and is really cool to have as well. Some Hi-Res stereo versions would've been nice but, I'm quite happy with the 3 different surround mixes. I've really been enjoying the entire boxset to be honest. If you have a 5.1 or better yet an Atmos setup (whether 5.1.2 or 5.1.4) then this is a must-have if you're a Deep Purple fan, -
