There seem to be a lot of suspicious copies for sale by zero sellers for very low values. A Mint copy is even recorded as having been sold for 1/3 of its released value!!
Please don't get scammed people!! -
My box is black, but with the same contents. I also have the blue Scandinavian box. Is there a separate entry for the black box or is the blue just so dark it looks black? I ordered direct from Ghost’s Loma Vista store.

I do like this box set very much. That being said, etchings are lame - especially on colored/swirled vinyl. The main reason it's lame? There could be MUSIC on those sides. Imagine if the "Stay" 7" had BOTH versions?!?! What if the "Live From The Ministry" EP was backed with.... oh, I don't know... acoustic versions of songs from the album, maybe a remix or two, SOMETHING that can played on a turntable as opposed to an etching that can in most cases only be "enjoyed" by finding the right angle in a light source. Records with etchings are prone to warping in my experience - although all the records are FLAT in my copy of this set, so good job to y'all at Memphis Record Pressing. Truth be told, I love Ghost and this boxset. I simply happen to prefer music over etchings.

Edited one year agoThis is probably my favorite piece in my entire collection. The "Live From The Ministry" EP was a nice touch, too... I've spun that quite a few times since opening it.
EDIT: Please don't buy from flippers on here, it's still available for retail as of August 20 2023. -
I'm not sure if this was worth the price of $200, as I could've spent the same amount on the Ratt box set and received twice as many LP's. However the package is very well put together, complete with candles if I want to dim the lights and enhance my listening experience. The highlight for me are the 4 live tracks from the album release, which they performed live in the Ministry. These tracks really pop on vinyl compared to the compressed version I'd heard before on YouTube.

Ghost are starting to get a bit much with all the merch on offer. But, to be fair to them, this is a pretty solid box set. The 7" single of 'Stay' (which features Forge solely on vocals, I believe) is gorgeous, as is the alternate artwork of Phantomime, and 'Live from the Ministry' EP. I don't think the colours on this release of Extended Impera are as nice as the ones on the Scandinavian variant, but on the whole it's a positive. Even the big, bulky Impera light-up, '3D' jacket, whilst gimmicky, is ittedly very cool. The wax set feels like a bit of a random add-on, but I love the hardback photo book. There's enough stuff here to feel like a genuinely 'exclusive' thing. Is it worth the pricetag? Maybe not. But you get a lot for your money.

Really very nicely put together box, the light up album cover is great. The whole thing feels very high quality, like all of their box sets do.
