Edited one year agoSome of the beats and synths are cool, but the vocals... way too much trying to be badass for me. It is like the Sleaford Mods collaboration from "Alternative Light Source" for the whole album. I'm afraid that Leftfield has left us two classics: "Leftism" and "Rhythm and Stealth". After that the output is far from essential to put it politely.

Oh dear, i was a bit apprehensive about a new album, and i was right to be, especially after the last album wasn't all up to the high standards we expect from him. And sadly, this is the sound of Neil running out of ideas and losing the plot! It starts of fine, first track is brilliant but then its like a train wreck. Awful dreery vocals and depressing music with no bite to it like it used to have. Ok it was worth doing a comeback album years ago but he should have left it there, this is just too far away from the leftfield sound it may as well be by someone else!
