My copy's Plate 3 is significantly out of round. Not to the point where it won't play right, but definitely noticable if you watch the record from above while it is playing. Another way to check is to hold your finger in one place along the records edge as it's playing and observe the growing/shrinking gap between your finger and the edge. Something to look out for when purchasing, I guess.

Edited 11 years agoAside from the excellent music on this compilation the album artwork is one of my all time favourites.

Some hard-to-classify good quality sounds, somewhere between ambient drum'n'bass and early morning house trax, drawing a lot from Lonnie Liston Smith (a 1970's jazz-funk musician, best known for his "Expansions" tune). I especially dig Lacarno & Burns' "Axis", a hippie-trippy jump-up kind of tune!
And nice art-work & pictures that made me prefer the multi-LP set to the CD release!
