I just picked this up the other day for $20 and it’s honestly pretty decent. I don’t know what the hell some of you lot are going on about but mines flat, quiet and can be turned up without malfunctioning and that’s all I’m really asking for these days.
Cheers. -

One word. It has 4 letters. No it’s not that. It’s this.
Junk.
Avoid.
Worst record in my collection. -
Edited one year agoThis Miles guy I never like anything he has done because I believe he is deaf ... If he mastered or lacquered cut this LP and others and they sound poor like this ... He can not hear correctly... And must be exchanged to different mastering engineer ... I'll do it even though I know nothing about lacquering or mastering.... At least I would know if it sounded like shit or not ...

I've got a copy, supposedly a half-speed mastering, with laser etched Matrixes with NO "MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. ROOM". Instead it shows 10-99451 / B003194801, indicating a record Industry pressing. Otherwise the covers and labels look exactly like indicated. The sound is lame, muffeld and full of sibilances. Sounds lika a CD on plastic. Is it possible that Universal has made such a confusion with covers and pressing? I'm definitely returning this copy.

For whatever reason, some songs sound decents, other not. Side B is overall a 4 on 5. Side A : 2.5 on 5. Wild Horses is terrible. I dont have any explanations for those kind of differences in a same album.

My copy seems like a great pressing, not sure what the other guy is complaining about, mine is flat as Florida and dead quiet, can't ask for much more...except for it to be stored in poly-lined sleeves from the factory, I could ask for that. 5/5

There are no pressing identifiers on this, but my educated guess is that this is an Erika Records pressing, with all the associated mediocrity. Plays fine but it's far from a perfect pressing, and overall it doesn't sound spectacular.
