Edited one month agoDid they re-cut this? The grooves don’t go as far into the record as the photos show and the labels are more flush, without the rings in the middle. The sound quality is actually pretty good with almost no noise whatsoever, and is more than listenable. Definitely more than “get if you just want it on vinyl.” Maybe I just got lucky tho, idk.
edit: i have the other 2022 pressing, oops -
My copy came sealed a few years back, it was warped and the label on side B was just completely missing...

lots of surface noise and pops...even with good cleaning. too bad it's a bad pressing. the worst is when you go from one song to another. the sound is not extraordinary. is the source the cd?
-
Edited 2 years agoIt's not the greatest sounding album in the world but I don't mind this pressing too much. The only surface noise on my copy was at the end of "Here We Go Again" (a notable drop in sound quality at the end, also has quite a few pops) and the quiet parts of "Franklin" and "My Heart". No skips on my record player.
Overall I enjoy it but it certainly could've been better. A pet peeve of mine is fuzzy artwork which is the case with the poor looking photo on the inner sleeve. -
Edited one month agoprobably worst pressing i have in my collection. kind of figured it wouldn’t be the greatest when reading these reviews before buying; but man, this pressing really sucks. unfortunate.

quality control is pretty bad on this one, sounds quiet and surface noise throughout.. maybe get it if you just want that album on vinyl but be careful

This was the last Paramore album I needed to complete their discography on vinyl, unfortunately like others have mentioned the quality control on this release is not good. For most new records I only need to give them a quick run through with my anti static brush to get rid of any kind of surface noise. This is the first new record I have needed to give a wet clean to get rid of the surface noise, because it was so irritating. Thankfully that got rid of almost all of it.
Also the hole for the spindle was very tight and makes it difficult to take on and off. I also noticed weird sound issues on the last track on side A and thought it was my system, but alas it seems like it is just part of the issue with this release.
Disappointed with this release and wouldn't really recommend it, but if you decide to just approach with caution and I hope other people's copies sound better. -
Edited 2 years agoI don't have the same issues as most here. Beautiful sounding pressing with no surface noise. Buy it and don't look back!

Mine is off center. You can't tell much at the start of each side but by time you get to the last track there is an obvious sound issue. The tracks sound like they are spinning at inconsistant speeds. Really disappointed in this release.
