No sound quality issues here! Listened to this digitally this morning (FLAC Files, adequate headphones, yadda yadda) in anticipation of picking this vinyl up today, and I cant really tell you a difference! I wouldnt say its quieter at all, and havent had any popping/crackling that wasnt due to me missing a fleck of paper on the vinyl.
Album turns 20 on 05/06! -

This pressing is quite bad. A lot of frequent popping sounds. It's pretty intrusive as it occurs very often. Don't get this repressing.
-
Really nice clear and dynamic mastering and for the most part a good pressing, my side A is dead silent and plays fine but side B of my copy is full of pops and clicks which is pretty annoying. I think I just got unlucky with my copy though. Don’t get why everyone is saying it’s quiet, my copy sounds pretty loud and really punchy.

Forever one of the quintessential pop punk albums. This pressing isn't perfect, but it's pretty darn good.
-
pressing is good, minimal to no noise, nice and flat. mix is a little quiet but a little exaggerated by others.
-
Glad I waited so long to get this album so it can sounds worse than an mp3... but I am happy I got it
-
some of my favorite backing vocals are so far back that i can barely hear them :( good if you want to own this record for a reasonable price, though
