A little poppy sounding, kind of muddy. Overall I’m please with the sound, and I love the color variant on this one as well. -

The picture looks a little different, but that could just be variation with the splatter, and I don't see any Discogs listing that looks more like it. -
Hoo boy this thing was dirty as hell out of the package and a bit dished as well. Needed a few turns through the vacuum.
Agree with the muddy comment but on an A/B comparison against the digital version it is the mix not the pressing. -

It does sound a little muddy but I think that's just the mix. My copy has a dead silent background which is always nice. Especially because some of the mud can be helped by turning it up loud.

Mastering leaves a lot to be desired on this pressing. Looks pretty but sounds sub par.

It's an okay pressing, a couple of popping of static, but it could be the nature of the environment. It's gorgeous looking though so happy for it in my collection. Remission 45RPM blows this out the water. -
Edited 4 years agoMy copy of this, from Relapse's Bandcamp page, came with a sticker on the dust jacket mistakenly marking this as 2xLP. Anyone else?
