Edited 3 years ago"So Ruff, So Tuff", "Maxx Axxe", & "Do it Roger" might be 3 of the best things Roger ever did with or without the Zapp name on it.

So Ruff, So Tuff is totally fukkin gangster!! To this day, almost nothing can touch this. Wannabe's cant test these grooves. Not even close...

Edited 3 years agoThis is a very underrated album. Every song is quality. It saddens me that such a pioneer and influence of the genre is basically forgotten. Roger Troutman helped Tupac write some songs on All Eyez on Me. He was a was a major influence on Tupac, and it can be heard in All Eyez on Me. Yet this album sits in the discogs database, with no relevant comments related to its quality. An original pressing can be had NM for under $10.00 shipped. There is no reason not to own this if you are a rap/funk/hip hop fan, or just want to be exposed to one of THE GREATEST & MOST INFLUENTIAL pioneers of funk, rap, and hip hop.

Does anybody know if there was a reissue of this LP released in the last few years?
I have a Warner Bros. pressing (Cat# BSK 3594) but the print job and vinyl quality all lead me to believe I have a vinyl reissue, but I don't see one listed here.
