Back in early 1974, “Crystal World" by Crystal Grass had an enormous, groundbreaking impact not only on dance floors at “Le Sept” in Paris and a little bit later at “Le Jardin" in Manhattan, with both venues geared mostly towards a progressive LGBTQ crowd, but also on an entirely new genre which was very soon afterwards called plain and simple "DISCO" 💫.

Not surprisingly: In “Chrystal World” you can find all the key ingredients necessary for a great dance track such as a throbbing, driving bassline or in this case, some haunting vocals accompanying a catchy melody in addition.

☝️This is a record that needs to be played loud on a high-end sound-system so its humongous sound actually can unfurl…trust me 😉.

Alter almost 50 (!) years, “Christal World” is still a fantastic 7” of historic proportions, released at the break of (Disco) dawn. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😊👍.
