This is amazing. If you're an Orbital fan this is a must have! Fantastic live session. -

It was Friday night (10th Sept 1993); my mate's parents had recently finished rebuilding their house and the lucky so and so had gained a massive bedroom complete with excellent sound system, strobe lights and hypnotic painted walls out of it. As cheesey as that may be the sound eminating from his speakers that night certainly wasn't. I was blown away by this performance by the Hartnoll brothers and became an instant convert from heavy metal to techno in seconds from it. This is where my relationship with electronic music started and what an excellent start indeed! -

imo, probably about the best damn recording Orbital ever made, and that's saying *a lot* given their prodigous, brilliant and influential output. an nice balance of their early harder techno edge and their transition into a more melodic and in parts ambient sound. a simply breathtaking, timeless recording that essentially transcends "electronic" music. yes, that's what it is, but it's soooo good that it breaks out of "electronica" to the list of the finest examples of form culled from all other genres of music. F'n amazing. I think I like it. -

Orbital's capacity for brilliant live music is never better shown than on here. The versions are here are nothing short of awesome, and still relevant - I still play the Peelsession mix of 'Walk About' all the time and it always sets the floor on fire :)
