Was pleasantly surprised by the translucent red pressing! The artwork on the vinyl itself is great. A great album! -
My copy is slightly warped & there was surface noise at the very beginning of side A, but sound quality is pretty good! Ghuleh gave me chills, the longer it went on the more I wanted to sit and stare at the speakers haha -
Such a great edition of this title. The color and style of the record fits the themes of the album very well. Some of the greatest and most provocative artwork for an album ever. More recent pressings seem to have the muddy low-mids smoothed out but this is a fine representation of the dirty, horny, grandiose album that is Infestissumam. -
Edited 9 months agoThe master seems a tad less muddy than usual on this press. Also, as of August 2024 this title is available in the US on the Ghost site for $25.

I thought I was buying a black copy, which I prefer, but got the transparent red. The sound is good, a bit overloaded when peaking, but decent soundstage if not in the 0 to +6 db range. I like the gatefold with lyrics, fairly easy to read. Even though the vinyl was fairly quiet, the mix just doesn’t have the depth and stereo field my 30th Anniversary mix of Eponymous by Rise Above Records has, even if it suffers from a few clicks and pops, but those can be removed. -

Great sounding pressing, although the actual release itself is kinda lackluster. The gatefold does not include the booklet with the artwork for all the songs which some other pressings include. Also the parental advisory explicit content warning on the cover does not appear on many other pressings and is kinda ugly. The fact that the cover is zoomed in and does not give you the full artwork is pretty bad. I like that it is a time capsule because of the B.C. on the cover, it's unique in that way. If all the other Ghost pressing hadn't put the bar so high this pressing would be totally fine. It probably will be just fine for most people but for collectors it's not essential to own.

Don't buy this, the quality is dismal! The recording is taken from what can only be described as ultra low quality MP3

I've had this variant for years and finally played today. The sound is astonishing. Great bass.
