Innerzone Orchestra – Programmed

Love this album, a great mix of electronica and orchestal, both regimented and almost freestyle, it occupies a unique space. When that electric piano drops on 'People make the world go round' I still get a shiver.

Error on all the labels. These are all 45s, labels all say 33

This is so underrated based on the current cost of purchase . Future vintage for those that know 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Differences between this version and the CD:
CD tracks "Wrong Number" and "Bug in the Bass Bin" aren't included on this version.
"Manufactured Memories" is longer (slightly longer intro than on the CD; CD version ends much sooner)
"Eruption" is longer (very short additional bit after where the CD version fades).
"The Beginning of the End" is longer (continues after where the CD version cuts off).
"People Make the World Go 'Round" is longer (continues after where the CD version fades out; no "Are those pianos?" at the end of this version)
Finally, "Timing" is SHORTER (appx. 0:13 from the CD version is edited just before the fadeout)

This LP is one of those unique sounding albums that is best appreciated
under certain conditions like "must play at home and from start to finish,
because the level of sophistication that this production achieves is such
that it can only be properly absorbed in that kind of low impact or
familiar environments. Carl Craig demonstrates that his musical
spectra is about as diverse as they come with these arrangements.
Late night jazzy embellishments from the deepest reaches of the
leftfield realms.

Gee, wonder why the title track doesn't exits anywhere anymore? Can't find it here or on YT. Maybe the message was too spot on to exists in this false realm..

Architecture (10" Edit) is a bonus track for Japan! ! !

what a great album. same feeling after all the years. a classic. especially in this box. one song, one side.

No one has taken the time to state that this collaborative effort overseen by a Detroit legend is a work of genius that will not be understood without taking the time to truly listen.
