Enya – Watermark

A nice and great sounding album. Angel-like soft voice and deep bass, rich soundscape.

Bernie Grundman/Chris Bellman cut. Very good sound, dynamics. Mine is flat and fairly quiet.

The bad: threadbare packaging.... jacket as thin and cheap as can be and a paper only plain inner.

The good: actually comes clean and plays superbly when washed to boot. Bellmans cut it well. The sound is more than decent enough!

TO CONCLUDE: solid pressing alround but shown as little love as poss by Warner on the packing. Still recommended for listening!

The dynamics in this album are surprisingly good. It definitely rewards full range speakers with bellowing lows, delicate high range, and expansive mid range imaging.

Although a lower output edition, the epic full range recording is a sonic experience. Note the uniquely coloured cover art.

This was a rare awesome find for me at a local record store in Barcelona. My copy sounds great, no distortion (at least I haven’t noticed).

This is an immaculate sounding vinyl! I picked this up sealed at Half Price Books, so maybe they got a shipment of the good pressing of this release. The only downside is the vinyl is a little warped, so your needle is going to go on a bit of a ride, but it’s nothing major.

For anyone wondering, this pressing is official. It's available through a collector service in Argentina, seemingly backed by Warner Bros. (almost all the releases so far are Warner releases).

The disc is 180g, and sounds really good. This is a recommended alternative to any recent pressings that are subpar.

I had to return the first disc, since it had slight scuffing and some indentations on the surface. I have a few of these Vinilos de Coleccion releases, and this is the first that wasn't mint out of the package. If you come across this in the USA, they are official, and they were sold by PdI VdC/Warner to US stores as overstock, which explains the sticker placed on the back barcode, under the shrinkwrap.
