Production and sound on this LP are excellent. It’s very lively. Good album in my opinion.

The slightly overshadowed "be yourself tonight" was a less observed album whereas "revenge" the album after had more success,but be yourself tonight actually had a quite a few hits, like crijevo had said she did turn to a sort of masculine upbeat tone with "would i lie to you" and "its alright (baby's coming back)" there was the impeccable hit of "there must be an angel" which was one of there famous songs along with sweet dreams and who's that girl below are tracks listed of my preference

1.) There must be an angel - If there is any song that annie lenox sung beautifully it was there must be an angel, her vocal range is almost like opera with a sort of motown backing with the clapping and harmonicas

2.) Would i lie to you- the majority of the song is backing vocals and again has a motown feeling like a slight tiny bit of ray charles feeling but an absolute hit none other than the less

3.) sisters are doing it for themselves- another great song wit great vocals performed perfect'ly by annie lenox and great use of synth by david stewart amazing song
