Autechre – Tri Repetae

side A-C play fine, the treble levels in these tracks properly mask the noisefloor - these were "easy" on the manufacturer,
D on the other hand, required a properly clean plating and a sterile pressing cycle - > didnt happen.
track d1 is a nightmare to listen to - no amount of washing/cleaning will help, d2 is ok thanks to better stylus velocity to noisefloor ratio.

Absolutely gorgeous pressing, perfect perfect (and I’m the annoying audiophile type). Was already pretty good before, but once cleaned with a machine, it became WOW.

If only most of my collection’s records had the same quality…

Sounds really great but the first press makes everything a tad better.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of this press. So spacious and warm, absolutely lovely. Leterel and C/pach especially shine here. Must note though that I had a little bit of surface noise in quiet parts of Overand and Rsdio but it was subtle enough to not bother me. Overall amazing repress and I really hope we'll see Untilted and Quaristice get the same treatment this year

Autechre – Tri Repetae is the reason I got into experimental electronic music. I was first shown the track "Clipper" by Kamikaze Space Programme in The Funkhaus, Berlin. Christopher Jarman was a tutor at the time and I always found his class to be very interesting and gave me new insight into electronic music, technology and art.

this is a CrO2 cassette tape recorded at 120 us EQ curve - no NR required, phenomenal audio quality, among top-5 cassette recordings Ive ever found. also shows you the actual limits of the cassette medium @ 4,76 cm/s.

Nothing I can say hasn't been said before about this pressing; absolutely beautiful. Amazing mastering, no audible surface noises, records are perfectly flat. Really lovely repress

Tri Repetae is indeed a masterpiece from Autechre . clipper is my favorite along with other . The sound mastering on this MPO pressing is really good . I don't have the 2001 and 2016 reissue to compare . Recommended album .

Technically this may be the best vinyl pressing in my collection. No surface noise at all, no warping, great dynamics. Perfect.
