referencing Interception (CD, Single) WAX CD 016
After discovering "Headhunter" in 1989 (nearly a year after its repease), I dove into Front 242 head first. There was nowhere (near me, in Michigan) to preview any of their music because they were so "underground". But our local Camelot Music store shockingly started carrying several of their albums and cd singles so I'd pick one up every few weeks. The "Interception" and "Non Stop!" CD singles were some of the first discs I bought. "Quite Unusual" completely mesmerized me. It is absolutely one of their best songs, and one of their most melodic. Haunting, cold, industrial, yet beautiful all at once. -

"Quite Unusual" is considered by many 1980's techno fans (aka electronic body music, aggrepo, or industrial techno) as one of the better classics from this decade. This is one of Front 242's best songs ever and an essential track to represent the mid-80's post new wave underground, progressive, hard-edged electronic dance scene.
"Aggressiva" (sp?) is another good industrial techno track, perhaps more underground, and makes the 2-song record a decent value because the songs are different yet both enjoyable.
