    Hi guys,

Both my SL-1200mk5's need pitch calibration but I can't find any instructions. I hope someone here knows how to do this.

The pitch going in the negative direction, the lower dots freeze at about 3.8%. Going in the positive, the upper dots freeze at ~4.1% and the uppermost freeze at ~7.1%.

The pitch control gain adjustment resistance value at VR302 is 2.875 kO as it is supposed to be. I haven't measured VR301 for the 0% adjustment but I believe it's fine since the zero is where it should be.

    Any clues?

How did you work out that it's "3.8%", "4.1%" and "7.1%"?

It's called visual estimation. The meaning of the ~ sign is "approximately".

    ^ Exactly.

And when everything else fails, let's consult the manual:

If you don't want to help or don't know how to help, please save me your comments. Approximate does not mean the wild deviations I see and that do not show on other turntables – and, most importantly, that didn't show on my own turntables before.
