I remove the vinyl from the sleeve to avoid pressure & wear during transit (sealed records exempted).
For sealed records, there is no way I can guarantee the quality of the pressing or any manufacture faults or warp from storage conditions. Further I can not guarantee that there is no seam damage during transport. If you like I can after payment unseal it and ship outside sleeve for protection, I will then also inspect it for warp or damage and let you cancel the order if there is an issue. Please consider this if you are after a copy to play, and not an item that should stay sealed.
CD
- When I grade the CD sleeves I just grade the inlay and booklet not the actual jewel case if it's a generic one.
- I always send the CDs without jewel case to reduce shipping cost. In this case, I pack with cardboard to protect CD and artwork, which is placed in a protective plastic sleeve.
- If the CD has some kind of special jewel case (for example in color, hologram etc) the CD will be sold and shipped with that jewel case, that will also be reflected in the price for shipment, compared to a CD that I will send without the jewel case to keep the cost of shipping down (see above)
