Grading

Everything I sell comes from my own personal collection, purchased at the time of release. So 99% of my inventory has not been ed through multiple owners.

95% of my compact disc inventory is Mint.

'Mint' means no marks on compact disc unless stated (ie a manufacturing fault accepted as part of the release itself).

Grading comments.

'As New' means exactly that - The item has been unsealed or outer protective wrapping such as plastic shrink-wrap removed.

Any flaws on the item, will be noted in the comments such as.

- mention of ‘hairlines’ - reflect that the disc is clean in general, except for the odd light superficial 'hairline' mark, normally only noticeable under strong artificial light)

- mention of 'tab pips' mean exactly that - and would only lightly dent the front insert/inlay

- mention of 'tab indents' mean exactly that - and would only lightly dent NOT tear the insert/inlay

- the grading of cutout notches or punch holes in inserts/ covers of promo or deleted items will depend on how intrusive it is.

- Japanese releases normally come with an Obi strip. Most of the time the grading of the strip will be in line with cover/ insert. In circumstances where the Obi isn't present or has flaws such as wear etc, it will be noted.

I store CD jewel cases within plastic outer sleeves so in general they are in excellent to like new condition and not heavily marked or scratched.

If a sealed vinyl record sleeve is graded 'Mint'. This means there is no storage wear such as dings, ceasing, ring or edgewear.
