JUNE 1 TRACKING REMINDERS
1) US buyers who select shipping with tracking, please a phone number is mandatory in order ship with tracking. Please check your address information and give us your phone number (many buyers do not list their phone number).
2) International shipping does not include tracking. The costs for tracking are different for every country. Some are reasonable (Western Europe: generally $6.00 extra). But others are very expensive. Some countries tracking is not offered at all. If you require tracking, please inquire for an exact cost to your country. Please be aware that the regular International Small Packet shipping is very reliable. We have shipped tens of thousands of items all around the world without tracking, and they almost always arrive (I can think of less than 10 orders that didn't).
APRIL 2024 UPDATE
We no longer offer shipping to Brazil. Most packages get returned sometimes up to a year later, or lost entirely. We express our sympathy to anyone who lives in Brazil and must suffer through their terrible postal system. We ship thousands of packages a year, the ONLY packages that have been lost or returned in the last two years are to Brazil.
AUGUST 2023 UPDATE
Brazil delivery is unreliable and/or slow. We are no longer offering a full refund guarantee for orders sent via Canada Post to Brazil that do not arrive within 90 days. Please order at your own risk if it is going to an address in Brazil. Some orders from Canada to Brazil do arrive, but there have been enough that have been lost (or ridiculously slow) that we can no longer guarantee delivery. Brazilian orders are free to inquire for the exact cost of insurance and tracking.
MAY 22 2023 UPDATE
In what can only be seen as a massive cash grab, starting today, Discogs has not only raised their fees on sold items, but have now instituted a new 9% fee on shipping costs as well. We have always carefully tried to have our shipping fees reflect actual costs, but with Discogs now placing a substantial fee on shipping we have no choice but to raise our shipping prices accordingly. We have not raised prices on the records and CDs, but have now factored in the Discogs cash grab into our new shipping prices.
We are not sure we understand why Discogs justifies a need to make a profit on shipping. The mandatory charging and collecting of VAT and US sales tax was bad enough. We hope some semblance of common sense will return, but are sadly not holding our breath.
JULY 2022 UPDATE
Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and Belarus' of this Russian war, Canada has placed sanctions on the shipment of luxury items (such as records and CDs) to those nations until further notice. I cannot ship to Russia or Belarus. I acknowledge the people ordering music from those countries are likely blameless in this situation. If you have an alternate shipping address in another territory I can attempt to ship, I am happy to redirect your package there.

I ship via Canada Post and drop off packages at least twice a week.
My rates are close estimates based on average weights of CDs in jewelcases and regular weight LPs in a non gatefold jacket. These prices are usually within a dollar of the exact Canada Post rate (after substracting the 9% Discogs shipping tithe). I ship vinyl using sturdy new LP cardboard mailers that cost me $1.75 each and new bubble pack CD mailers reinforced with cardboard..
For global simplicity, all prices of merchandise, shipping and handling are in US Dollars. Apologies for the confusion to Canadian customers wondering why a Canadian business is selling to Canadians in US dollars, but most of my sales are to outside of Canada.
Minimum order to ship is $4.99 USD (before shipping charges).
OFFERS: I am much more likely to accept reasonable or low offers if you are purchasing multiple items, or if you are a repeat customer. Translation: Please don't make a $3.00 (or anything less than $4.99) offer for one item and expect me to accept it or even consider it. It takes time to go to the warehouse, pull the item, safely pack it, do the shipping paperwork, pay discogs and paypal fees, Canadian taxes, and gas to transport to the Post Office.

July 2022 Update: Due to world events, politics, greed and subsequent rising fuel costs, Canada Post has added a very painful surcharge to all parcel shipments in Canada. We have been losing $5 to $10 per shipment at our previous rates. We were charging $12.50 US (about $15.50 CDN) for a 500 gram parcel that actually cost us (today July 17) over $26 Canadian for BC to Ontario. We have had no choice but to raise our parcel shipping rates in Canada. We hope this is temporary and will reduce our rates at whatever point Canada Post reduces or removes the surcharges.
For global simplicity, all prices of merchandise, shipping and handling are in US Dollars. Apologies for the confusion to Canadian customers wondering why a Canadian business is selling to Canadians in US dollars, but most of my sales are to outside of Canada.
