Yea was digging out my records been hiding in my piles of box. Plucked this one out as my fave commix class spacey vocals and funky dnb. Flat. Lining bass line ♥️👌👌

Things have moved on a bit now but this was massive back in the day, sounds a bit boring now though, lost its freshness for sure. Pressed so many times since its release there must be thousands of these still around!.

The fact that in every and each drum n bass night I have been since 2012 someone drops "Be True" and not any other of the fantastic tunes from any Commix album is very telling on how generally boring and stale the scene is and how the audience wants the same things over and over again. It is a good liquid tune but at this moment I am so so so so tired of listening to it. There is a huge world out there in dnb, not only "Be true".

The sign of great music is when it still sounds fresh and original years on. This plate sounds immense, futuristic and relevant. The production is on point. This is why this puppy sells for good prices even after a repress. Its reach is beyond drum & bass in my opinion.

Be True is an absolute masterpiece from Commix trio. Defy you not to dance to the beat and that beautiful bassline... Phenomenal!
Best MetalHeadz release not related to their usual techstep or deep sound with those saw-containing basslines if you know I mean.
