Edited 5 months agoMy copy looks pristine but plays with very noticeable crackling noise throughout (despite repeated cleans). The last two tracks are marred by some very loud hissing in one channel.
I’ve also compared it to my UK 1973 A2/B2 and A3/B copies, and the sound is veiled in comparison. Overall not a well made pressing. -
The Gramophone Co. rim text suggests this is an early UK pressed record,
With no clear identifiers in the run-outs, it is with my ears, that I would say most likely A3/B3 stampers.
No apparent HF distortion in the Clocks of Time.
Great audio, definitely an early UK pressed record.
