Notes

This 1998 reissue differs from a more recent issued GET 541 in that the barcode and text on the back cover is placed differently.

This edition licensed from Castle Communications © 1970. It's on high-quality 180 gram pure virgin vinyl, and includes the entire original album, plus a 12"/45 rpm with 3 songs taken from the extremely rare maxi-single released in 1971 by Dawn Records.
It comes packaged in a full color double gatefold outer-sleeve. Additionally, the first record is in a stiff cardboard inner sleeve reproduction of the original insert.
Produced by Barry Murray at Pye Studios Nov./Dec. 1970.

I have had this pressing for years, probably from 2005 or so. The actual album pressing is very nice, flat and no warps. Obviously done before the vinyl craze cash grab became a thing. But the extra LP seems to be a rush job pressing. On mine the vinyl has those tiny pots all over it when you hold it to an angle in the light. Maybe it was a fast pressing job, heating issue or at the end of the plate's life, I have no idea. It plays okay but looks like an old 70's bootleg. But like I said the main LP is fantastic.

A real pagan horror show of a record. Don't play it much in the spring and summer, it's for those crisp Autumn evenings. Nice pressing and package.

An excellent quality reissue. They pulled out all the stops on this one.

This first official repressing is superb quality. I think they did this album justice both in sound and presentation on near 180gm before it was a thing and with an extra 12" and full gatefold. I happened to get mine from a guy who played a show with the band which I thought was cool. I know it has been pressed a few times since, but I would trust black vinyl for sound quality over gray any day (which is just done as a cash grab for color vinyl fans) .
