Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Los Angeles pressing as indicated by the "✲" stamped in the runouts, this original mono label variation has missing writing credits for track B4 "The Bitter End" and track B6 "The Chase", and "You Can't Do That" is not listed as part of track B4.
Also:
-For the generally different font, identical to the early Scranton pressing, use Help! (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).
-Track A6 label text is on 3 lines (for the release where it is written on 4 lines and different font, use Help! (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack))
Original pressings came with olive green Capitol inner sleeve.
Runouts are etched, except for the Los Angeles "✲" and the number/letter preceding it (where it is present). Additionally, in the runouts it appears that the "S" in "MAS" has been etched on top of a "T" or vise versa.

Edited 2 years agoI always thought my copy was a Scranton pressing until I saw this and checked , was surprised to see the * LA symbol in the runout. Scranton labels , but etched runout data and the star/pinwheel symbol. Leads me to wonder if Scranton shipped labels to LA , or did Los Angeles ship stampers to Scranton for use in pressing?
