i was going through some of my older FAX releases that i have sitting on my shelf, and then i saw the comments by 'player.' i had the same experience with this release. originally, i thought it was just OK, but when i listened to it again after several years, my appreciation for this release has gone to 'very good', maybe a 4/5 or so.

Mixed views about this album when bought and only listened to a couple of times when originally released back in 1995. A re-listen recently (again in 2021) after a long 25(+)yrs later, I've now changed my mind, upping the score on this album which I originally scored a average 3, but now easily a full 4 or 5. Listening again to the album has absorbed me quite unexpectedly after all these years with its now unique sounding synthetic downtempo slow unfolding techno and ambient that provoke abstract thinking, psychedelic atmospheres and mellowing mind effects when listening. Music that can sound very much different and even forward thinking in a good way when compared to the many other Downtempo Techno/Trance-Ambient music released back then, and even now. A album that I am glad to have kept rather then have sold

Out of all my FAX cds, this is one of my most cherished. It just rides so beautifully. Nice old FAX. I pulled this one out and listened to it for the first time in 15 years. (Rocking it again now in 2022) Wow! really brought me back to 1994. 'Park' is a rocker with the mind-bending rotating drums... This album is not trying to be the first to the finish line. It's all about the different vibes along the way to the finish line.

Try it. -When is the last time you listened to 'A Day in The Park"?
