Higher Intelligence Agency always had great sound; remarkable crisp production skills. Really loving the psychoactive weirdo fairground melodies, the floaty psychedelic 303 reminiscent of Goa, the simple but infectious dub bass, and as for the masterclass in how to deliver rhythmic cymbal and hi-hat...just great! This is at the peak of ambient dub in the early to mid 90s and forges the link between dub, techno, and psytrance that resulted in the whole world of ambient, psybient, and chill.
One of my all time favourite lps. I wonder if the remaster can really be an improvement? ~*~ -
Whoooa the qaulity in this is amazing ! This is up there with the best of the mid 90s electronic music scene , without a doubt ..
Sounds as if it was made today , great bass lines - acid tweeks bubbling away with pristine tones . -
